Contracts have been signed with 80 students eligible for partial travel cost reimbursement through the ERASMUS+ program during a ceremony held on November 5 at the University Library. The funds, provided by the budget of the Split-Dalmatia County for 2024, are intended for students residing outside of Split. In previous years, the City of Split co-financed travel costs for all students in the program, but since last year, funds have been allocated exclusively to students residing in Split.
"The Split-Dalmatia County co-finances part of the travel costs for students living outside the city of Split who are also participating in the ERASMUS+ exchange. A total of 18,000 euros has been allocated in the budget, distributed across 80 contracts, with each student receiving up to 265 euros," said Split-Dalmatia County Prefect Blaženko Boban during the contract signing, announcing that the practice will continue in the coming years.
University of Split Rector, Prof. Dr. Dragan Ljutić, expressed his gratitude to Prefect Boban for the initiative, affirming that this support enables all students to visit other universities across Europe through the Erasmus Plus program.
