Support groups organized by the Association for Promoting Mental Health, "Feniks" Split, are intended for University of Split’s students, providing them with opportunities for true socializing and discussions about mental health issues and the challenges they face.
Meetings take place Thursdays from 6 to 8 PM at Faculty of Economics in Split, 2nd floor, in Hall 1.
Support groups are open, free gatherings aimed at young people with psychosocial difficulties, altered states of consciousness, with or without diagnosis. The groups are not led by certified professionals; instead, by a group of individuals with personal experience in dealing with psychological pain, guided by two trained young facilitators whose role is to create a safe and tolerant environment where participants have adequate space and time to express themselves. Principles of equality, fairness, confidentiality, and anonymity are respected.
No prior registration is needed.
This activity is part of the youth psychosocial support project "I’M SICK OF IT!", co-financed by City of Split and the Split-Dalmatia County, and the program implemented by Feniks Association, in partnership with University of Split.
