University of Split, along with Faculty of Economics, participates in a new Erasmus+ project called GreenTech Horizons (Promoting Dual Green and Digital Transition through Education and Innovation in Neighbourhood East, Central Asia, and Asia), aimed at fostering dual green and digital transition in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia.
The project connects higher education institutions and industrial partners from Europe and Asia with the goal of:
- Developing twinning competencies in green, digital, and business skills,
- Modernizing curricula at eight universities,
- Establishing an innovative competency-based learning ecosystem,
- Implementing eLearning platform with open online courses,
- Connecting academic community, industry, and decision-makers for successful educational and economic reforms.
The project commenced on November 1, 2024, and will last until October 30, 2027. The global consortium includes 9 higher education institutions, 3 industrial partners, and 1 provider of vocational education and training.
Project implementation team from University of Split’s Faculty of Economics consists of prof. Ivana Bilić Ph.D., assoc. prof. Marko Hell Ph.D., and assist. prof. Ivana Ninčević Pašalić Ph.D.
The GreenTech Horizons project is funded by the EU, under Erasmus+ program, and contributes to creating a sustainable future through education and innovation.
