On June 17 and 18, in SPINIT incubator’s premises, the IP Helpdesk Ambassadors Summit took place, an event that brought together innovation experts and IP ambassadors from different parts of Europe. This two-day event was attended by 25 ambassadors from Croatia, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Turkey, Poland, Belgium, Austria, Finland and Greece, ensuring the summit’s international character and exchange of various experiences and knowledge.
During the event, various topics related to intellectual property were covered, including valorization of knowledge, licensing, managing intellectual property and protecting innovations, with special emphasis on Widening countries and opportunities aimed at developing innovations and commercializing scientific results in EU countries whose innovation ecosystems aren’t that developed. Special attention was paid to new Code of Practice for joint collaboration between industry and academic community, which aims to improve cooperation between these two sectors and facilitate transfer of knowledge and technology.
The event was moderated by Ivana Vuka from RISE - Research and Innovation Services ltd. and Claire Fritz from EURICE GmbH. Their expertise and experience in fields of research and innovation contributed to quality discussion and summit’s success.
