Published on October 9, 2025, the University of Split is ranked among 1,201 to 1,500 universities worldwide.
Since its first inclusion on this prestigious list in 2011, number of participating institutions has significantly increased—from initial 200 to as many as 2,190 institutions, while more than 3,118 universities submitted data for this year's evaluation.
In this year's edition, University of Split recorded an increase in total number of points, with improvements noted in three key areas considered by Times Higher Education: Teaching, Industry Income, and International Outlook.
The best-rated area remains Citations, which confirms growing impact of the work done by Split's researchers in the international academic community.
Results of THE World University Rankings represent an important recognition to the work and dedication of University of Split's staff, as well as additional incentive for developing quality of teaching, scientific research, and international cooperation.
