On Monday, September 29, University of Split organized a Welcome Day for foreign exchange students in the winter semester of the academic year 2025/2026. The event was prepared by University’s Department for International and Interuniversity Cooperation, and it took place in the University Department of Professional Studies’ amphitheatre. At the beginning of winter semester, University of Split hosted more than 280 new students from 31 countries.
Students had the opportunity to hear useful information about studying and living in Split, presented by Josipa Bartulović, expert associate for academic mobility.
Toni Todorić from UniSport Association spoke about possibilities of participating in sports activities, while Magdalena Kalinić, president of ESN Split, presented a program of activities for foreign students that aims at their better connection and full integration into academic community and student life. The official program was followed by informal socializing and refreshments.
