The workshop titled "Advances in Forensic and Paleo Radiology" was organized by University of Split’s Department of Forensic Sciences, together with Split Clinical Hospital Centre, Zagreb Clinical Hospital Centre, and with financial support from Croatian Science Foundation. At the opening, everyone was greeted by prof. Damir Piplica Ph.D., Head of University Department for Forensic Sciences, and assoc. prof. prim. Ljubo Znaor Ph.D., advisor to Split KBC’s director.
Objectives of this workshop were to:
- Present current research and methodologies developed in the project CTforID.
- Exchange experiences and knowledge in fields of virtual anthropology, forensic radiology and paleo radiology.
- Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration among scientists, practitioners, and experts in fields of forensics and radiology.
The workshop was designed as a platform for professional discussion, practical demonstrations and interactive sessions, providing participants with a unique opportunity to gain insight into latest advancements in this exciting field.
