In a festive atmosphere, a special Christmas concert took place on December 17 at University Gallery. The audience enjoyed performances by choirs from several University of Split’s components, including the Split Academy of Arts’ Mixed Choir, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences’ Mixed Choir, Faculty of Economics’ Alumni Choir, St. Anastasia Choir of Religious Educators (Catholic Faculty of Theology alumni), and Academy of Arts’ klapa Dežgracija, with guest appearance by Split’s Women Choir, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Opening remarks were given by prof. Ivica Puljak Ph.D., Mayor of Split, Helena Trze Jakelić, Head of University Gallery, and Pero Prosenica, Head of Music Culture and Arts’ Department.
The concert was realized in collaboration between the University and the Music Youth of Split.
