When it comes to the SEA-EU project, everyone who had the opportunity to be a part of it knows that it is not a typical project and that it can hardly be summed up in one word or a short description.
What is more, the project’s official full name is ‘The European University of the Seas Alliance navigating towards modern and co-transformative inter-campus life; people-driven, planet-friendly and knowledge-based progress for all, or abbreviated - SEA-EU for all’.
With this premise in mind and following strong initiative by Department of Professional Studies, an informative lecture was held for SEA-EU representatives, interested Erasmus coordinators and other employees from University constituent about SEA-EU’s ongoing activities and opportunities that this comprehensive project offers for students and University staff, both teaching and non-teaching. Project manager, prof. Zoran Đogaš Ph.D. started the lecture and all those present were also greeted by deputy head for teaching and international cooperation, Goran Ćorluka Ph.D..
Thanks to the synergy of as many as 9 Alliance members, one can engage in job shadowing - learning through observation in jobs where many think that they have mastered everything or that they cannot go outside these frameworks. But they can and should. Networking serves for it: learning, maturing and transforming, in this case, higher education. The participants had the opportunity to learn more about opportunities offered them, such as staff weeks. Researchers had the opportunity to find out about Alliance’s SEA-EU base of researchers and research groups, a common infrastructure and much more that helps common interests and can result in new projects and/or other forms of cooperation.
