The ceremony was held on June 6 at Faculty of Law in Split, which marked its 63rd anniversary of establishment and continuous operation.
At the beginning of the formal session, Faculty of Law’s Dean, assoc. prof. Ratko Brnabić Ph.D., pointed out that this day connects past, its tradition and the future they are facing.
He pointed out that Faculty of Law transmits what is most valuable - knowledge, national identity and service to homeland - from generation to generation of teachers and students.
At the formal session, Dean's awards for the academic year 2023/2024 and letters of thanks were also awarded.
Jerko Šarić, President of University of Split’s Student Union, was thanked for making a special contribution to encouraging cooperation in order to raise quality of student standards.
The ELSA Split Association was thanked for its long-term contribution and promotion of Faculty of Law in Split.
Thanks for contributing to development of legal theory and practice was also awarded to County, Municipal, Municipal Misdemeanor, Commercial and Administrative Courts in Split.
Prof. Vesna Barić Punda Ph.D. received Dean's recognition for successful long-term activities and exceptional contribution to developing University of Split’s Faculty of Law.
