At University of Split, under the leadership and with support of Rector, prof. Dragan Ljutić Ph.D., the Faculty of Economics successfully accredited its first international joint degree study program in English.

As part of European University of the Seas Alliance (SEA-EU), Faculty of Economics’ academic staff, led by head of the working group, also head of this new master's study program, prof. Ana Kundid Novokmet Ph.D., created an innovative joint master's program in the field of organizations’ sustainable management, titled Sustainability Transition for Organisations and Resilience Management (STORM). This new study program is the result of project collaborations between Faculty of Economics in Split and five European universities: from France (Université de Bretagne Occidentale Brest), Malta (University of Malta), Spain (University of Cádiz), Poland (University of Gdańsk), and Norway (Nord University). This joint master's study program will start in the upcoming academic year. Basic requirements for enrolment are completing an undergraduate university study program and proficiency in English. All details and competition for enrolment will be published soon. First generation, in the academic year 2025/2026, will have classes in Brest, while classes in Split will begin in the following academic year.

Faculty of Economics’ Dean, prof. Bruno Ćorić Ph.D., emphasizes the significance of having such joint international university master's program in sustainable management, after 50 years of faculty's existence.

Prof. Ana Kundid Novokmet Ph.D. points out that the study program’s aim is to equip students with knowledge, skills, and competencies for sustainable management of organizations, regardless of their size, sector, or profit orientation, actively responding to labour market needs, as skills related to sustainability are in high demand.
