The project will be implemented from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2027, with a total budget of €1,748,340.08, from the Interreg IPA ADRION Program (2021-2027).
Leading partner is University of Split (Croatia) and other project partners include: DIH Agrifood Croatia, Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, CibuSalus S.R.L., National Observatory of Athens, the Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organization (Greece), REBUS Albania, Faculty of Food Technology, Food Safety and Ecology (Montenegro), Citizens' Association "SOMETHING MORE," and Sports Fishermen Association of Vitez (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Main project objectives include:
- Development of online tools for self-assessment of ESG standards and nutritional values of products,
- Education of producers on circular economy and sustainable practices,
- Promotion of international cooperation through guidelines and memoranda.
FISHIMPACT aims to enhance competitiveness of the fishing and aquaculture sectors in the region, while supporting sustainability and consumer health.
